This is why it hadn't made its way into sid yet
You can install pacemaker standalone from the SuSE deb repo but then
it's only useful together with an AIS cluster
Build is still running

Therefor you end up in using 2.1.4 (if you want to stick with deb)
Why did it work up to now?
I just tried using the suse de repo on my etch box which is causing the
same error as you get.
I'll try to build the packages on my own and post you the result.
