I am working on specs for an HA Apache setup. I am trying to confirm or correct some assumptions that I can not quite pin down in the documentation.
Is it a good idea to have your doc root on a shared storage system not tied to any nodes directly? I would think so, since if you lost the node that help the content files, you would lose the ability to serve them. Or does the HA cluster manage that and make sure the content is on all the nodes? Or is it up to the web developers to ensure the content is in the correct file systems?
