Thanks, Tim. It does answer some questions, but it leaves my biggest one
unanswered. The Pacemaker Wiki says to use OpenAIS. However, Lars'
announcement on 2/11/10 says, "You are really strongly encouraged to
upgrade to Heartbeat 3.0 and Pacemaker."

So far, what I've gotten from the discussion is that I won't be able to
get much community support for my old R1-style clusters, so I should at
*least* switch to heartbeat+Pacemaker; however, I still don't understand
why the Pacemaker Wiki says I should use OpenAIS if the heartbeat
messaging layer is still being actively developed.
