Hi All,

I am curently using mgetty to control modem access to the BBS system.
This allows myself
and other sysops to dial in for maintanence tasks on the Linux unit,
and also allows incoming faxes.
BBS users enter "bbs" at the login prompt. This then passes them to an
8-Bit transparent Telnet
session on the bbs (telnet -8E localhost 6300).

The problem that I have with this is that FBB will only let the user
Yapp Download over a Telnet session,
I presume this is fbb only supporting X/Y/ZModem on a port that it has
deemed a modem port.

Is it possible for someone to confirm this or otherwise, with hints of
how to fix it if appropriate.

Alternatively, could JPR possibly split the "Y" flag in ports.sys into
two flags, one for Yapp and another
for X/Y/Zmodem please, as currently users are unable to download with
the major protocols

Best Regards

(I won't add a tag - work add a naff one for me!)
