Hello Tomi and Co

Sorry I can't quote your message, or set my line length properly, I'm using Lotus
Notes at work here.

The idea of using a dummy NET/ROM callsign is so obvious, but so good and at least in
my eyes
doesn't appear as a kudge. Its just the same conceptually as when you had a BPQ system
which
had both a node and a BBS, the BBS never appeared as a NET/ROM interlink callsign, but
in
effect was hidden behind the node with a suitably high quality.

Still its got me thinking about modifying ax25d to allow for a wildcard on the SSID,
like:

[G4KLX-$ VIA 144]

or similar, with the $ indicating a wildcard. The * has already been used for
something else and it would
make parsing a little easier. It would save some finger work at least.
