a few days ago, I installed Debain 2.0r3 which is libc5 based. So I
had to go for the libc6 version of the AX.25-utilities which can be
found at
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/ham
or
ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/ham/unix/Linux/packet/ax25/packages/libc6/rpm
Unfortunately, these packages seem to be incomplete. Some
programs are missing.
I tried this for both sethdlc and smmixer - none of them is included
in either of the ax25util-2.1.42a-0.i386.rpm or
ax25-utils_2.1.42a-5.deb packages.
What is the reason for this - and how could this problem be solved?
My colleagues and I do not want to downgrade to some old libc5
based system only in order to use the SoundModem or BayCom
modem for packet radio.
