at this place, I must add a correcting remark to this message I

According to a hint from Kai Altenfelder at S.u.S.E., I double
checked this situation.
Indeed, the programs
setcrystal
sethdlc
smdiag
smmixer
are missing in ax25-utils_2.1.42a-5.deb.
However, they are included in ax25-utils-2.1.42a-3.i386.rpm (on
funet) and in ax25-utils-2.1.42a-0.i386.rpm (on suse.com).
So I guess I'd have to convert the rpm to a deb using alien and
install this package instead of the original deb.
Just tested this and it seems to work.
So there's another change to my HOWTO translation necessary :)
