You can even talk in the "good old amtor" mode to a PTC-II ;-)

Ah yes, Karl isnt it amazing, but you only talked in pactor 1,
not pactor 2.  Most of the fellows who run the ptc-II do allow normal
pactor connections.  On some of the forwarding frequencies only pactor
2 is allowed.  Once again, I can not say enough good about the scs
ptc-II, regardless of the cost.
