Try the version on the amsat site - 
http://www.amsat.org/amsat/ftpsoft.html#linux


I can't remember if it come configured for Linux,  so you may have to uncomment 
the Linux lines and comment out some others in the Makefile.

It will compile on many variations of Unix,  I have in on both Linux and 
Solaris.
