Unless you are using ROSE, just forget the net-tools. You will probably
get slightly corrupted information from netstat if you do but that's not
fatal and you get the information from node as well (Links command).
Otherwise you should be safe with the net-tools you have. Unless of course
Slackware have done something stupid while compiling them...
