Hello,
I am currently in the beginnings of setting up a new gateway for the
Vancouver, BC, Canada area. I have previously set up gateways here using
jnos/dos, and Tnos/Linux in the past.
This time I want to use 'pure' Linux, and no Tnos/Jnos at all.
I understand the using the IPIP tunnel driver, and the axip daemon is
the way to go.
Can someone tell me if this is the best way to go, and what is the most
current versions.
Here is what I have now:
Slackware 3.5
Kernel upgrade to 2.0.35
AX25 Utilities 2.1.42a
Is this the best to start with?
Also, should I be using NetTools v1.33 (as in the ax25 HOWTO), or stay
with the NetTools that comes with Slackware 3.5. This seems to be
net-tools v1.432.
Any help/info you can give me regarding your past experiences would be
most helpful.
Thanks ...
