Hm, lots of other things to upgrade also, not only the kernel.. heh ;-)
This system is our club PR system, and its intended to be up for a long
time
without system crashes, if i want crashes, ill install the ms-dos system
again.. hi ;-)
Okay, i have heard that 2.1.1xx is stable, perhaps ill get this a try in my
PR system at home.
There is now way to take the z8530drv-3.0 and fixes into the 2.0.35 kernel?
Whats about the z8530drv-3.0-2.0.35 patch then ?

Perhaps, but ill only use hard-DCD, never used soft-DCD,
this notice was nothing to do with z8530drv, its was only a notice.
I cant undertand why the 9600bps modem makers DOSNT include this little
HW fix to prevent this stupid problem, i have spoken (e-mail) with g3ruh for
about
4 years ago about this HW patch when first started up with 9k6 at our club
system.
But there was no positive response on this.. :/
This problem isnt only with SCC cards, its on all system thats use these
modems.

I dont soft-DCD.
>Hope this helps, and give the 2.1.132 a try
Hm.. not realy.. heh :-) , but i will check out 2.1.132 kernel and see whats
upgrades that needs.. thanks.
>PS: I also mesure also an enormous RXerrors with soft-dcd
perhaps the soft-DCD whould be the solution with the rxinterupts/rxerrors,
if the soft-dcd did work as it intended to do.. ?
