That's right. a lot of _irriversable_ work (it's reversable but..)

If 2.1.132 would crash i would have said that, actually i'm running the
latest 2.1.xx kernel for a long time now, without any crashes etc. And
that isn't axactly comparable with something like msdos.

Sure give it a try on a _non_ importand machine, i think you'll be

I don_'t_ know about 2.0.xx, just loooking into 2.1.xx nowadays.

Read the announcement from Joerg, it works fine with 1200bd/nrzi/dpll,
only soft-dcd-status is ...(well read the announcement from Joerg), it
seems this way to been for ever.
