Karl, you made that accusation a couple of months ago. I refuted it then, and
I'm refuting it now.

Messages pass through an "administrivia" filter that checks for requests to
sign up and sign off the list, and requests for assistance that looks like
they aren't meant for the general list, and sends them to me for approval
before posting. I look them over and send the ones that are "real" back to
the list with a header that overrides the check, and respond directly to
those who need list assistance.

If your message does get delayed like that, likely it'll be delayed for
several days until I get a chance to read my bounces folder, not 12-24 hours
delay we've been seeing on the list.

I've been told that they are "trying something new" with vger's zmailer MTA,
because vger is being seriously burdened. Hopefully that's should help. Not
that I know what that is, apart from it being new, but.... :-)
