If it worked in one machine, moving the hard drive and cards to another 
machine should not be a real problem. PCI plug and play cards can cause 
problems when they don't configure themselves correctly but I suspect 
that you are not moving PCI cards.

If you run Xwindows make sure configure it for the new graphics card.
