Dear Users
I have just purchased a copy of the SuSE 6.0 Linux with the 2.0.36
kernel. I am having trouble getting the
radio utils going. I have the ax25-utils-2.1.42 and net-tools-1.45.
Mkiss and ax25 kiss support has been enabled.
At boot time, it shows the ax25 multikiss support being initialized. I
start by placing the net tools and utils (.tar format) in the /usr/src
directory before unzipping per earlier ax25 howto. After compiling each
of the two files and installing, I see the mkiss.c and kissattach.c in
the "/usr/src/ax25-utils-2.1.42/kiss" directory but I cannot locate the
mkiss and kissattach programs. The howto's tell me mkiss and kissattach
should be in the /usr/sbin directory but it is not there. Does Suse put
it some place else? Any suggestions. Thanks for the help.
