Hello Steven,

You have put out an extremely well stated request!  I hope various parties
will respond carefully and comprehensively to each of your questions.
Over the past few months there have been similar requests, but not as
clearly presented.  Answers have been very murky, on the order of:
"Changes are coming...be patient."  I'm patient, but it would be nice if
some of the issues surrounding the development of ax25utils were openly
disscussed!
