The SUSE 6.0 release comes with a precompiled .rpm for the utilities with
glibc and the 2.2.x kernel.  I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work
with RedHat.

If you don't manage to find it on the RedHat site, I'll bring along the rpm to
next weeks meeting.
