... err, what do you think the file locfile is all about ?
I have added the dots based on the data in that file (now pruned) and it
looks OK.

I added Aberdeen, but is Chorley a major population centre ? I think not.
True, the file does include Cromford, but that is my perogative since I
wrote the program :-) It also includes my current home (Zurich) so I'm
happy.
The data I am looking for is the CIA base data for maps. Can anyone
provide me with some pointers to it ?
BTW mtrack-0.2d with the black map fix is now available for testing.
