Chorley is part of the Preston conurbation, which comprises the city
of Preston and several large towns on its outskirts. Whilst they're
all legally separate entities with their own councils, there's no
visible boundary between them as they all abut onto each other.
I would've referred to it as Preston except that the data point stored
in my GPS's memory was for a building that's about 1 mile from CHorly
town centre and 7 miles from Preston town centre...
