As I had problem early with xfbbd when enabling a telnet port, I have not
been using telnet for xfbbd for long. In my feeling, telnet doesn't work
properly if xfbbd attaches some numbers of ax25 ports. For internal
connection, I have been running kissnetd for more than a year and new
kissnetd coming with ax25-tools-0.0.5 is working perfect, too.
I don't know much about "LinuxNode". What I have been using is ax25d, as
the frontend for DX Spider, that is running simultaneously with xfbbd.
The new ax25d in ax25-tools-0.0.5 is also working fine. I have never
experienced the problem that you have with the LinuxNode.
I have succeeded to compile xfbbd 7.01b which was just released a couple
of days ago, but the binary doesn't start, does nothing and returns
immediately. I would like to see what is wrong this weekend.
