Hi,
This is what works for me. If I remember correctly :-)
make menuconfig
make dep
make clean
make
make install
make modules
make modules-install
and reboot
I've been using this procedure since RH3.x and came from the book that came
along with the disk. With the exception of the modules lines, since there
were no modules in the 3.x and earlier versions.
