Ken,
The Slackware distribution is at 7.0.  They skipped 5.0 and 6.0.  I'm sure
this was to get up to the same release versions as RedHat, and some of the
others.  But don't worry, you are being told correctly 7.0 is current.  If
you cannot find the ISO anywhere please let me know and I can make it
available to you.
