Hello,

I can't still establish a serial communication with a TNC2 using the minicom.
I have try a lot of test and parameters of the minicom and the result is the
following.

- I use Debian 2.1 (Slink - kernel 2.0.36) and minicom 1.82-3;
- The same PC and the same TNC2 can communicate together when the PC run MS-DOS
(boot with floppy) and the Procomm program;
- If I connect an asynchrone modem on the port com and run minicom (ANSI, 9600
bps 8-N-1, software flow control), then the modem understand commands like ATD
or ATZ but no messages like OK appears on the screen.
I have connected the Tx of the serial cable on the RX in order to make a loop.
When I write on the keyboards, nothing come back on screen.
It seems to me that my system don't know how to interpret the signals it
receives.

Does anybody having success with minicom could help me ?
If not, Does anybody could advice me an other no-X simple terminal program ?
Best Regards.
