Minicom uses /dev/modem to communicate unless you tell it otherwise. /dev/modem is a symlink to /dev/ttyS0 or 1234 etc. ttyS0 is com1, 1 is com2 etc. By running minicom -s you can reset the serial post for that session. Hope this helps. Bob
