No, because then he and everyone else will keep posting off-topic
questions that are more appropriate for other listservers. In fact
the suggestion to ask elsewhere is more helpful in the larger
context.
The subject for this listserver is already defined to be a forum for
the discussion of ham-specific linux applications. If there are
enough people who are hams and just want to discuss linux in general
and who aren't satisfied with the MANY other general linux
listservers out there, you are welcome to start one of your own.
However, please be polite and keep posts to this listserver
on-topic.
