I am only one person on this list, but I do not consider general Linux questions
appropriate for this list.  I have a large and growing procmail filter
especially for this list due to the large amount of off-traffic email
that appears here. My filter also blocks a lot of on-topic but
uninteresting stuff (to me) as well.

My rule of thumb is if the question can be asked by someone who is not a
ham (or using the ham linux code, eg CB'ers running ax.25) then it's off
topic.
