Galeon uses the Mozilla project's gecko libraries. I have no idea how they split it to packages in mdk, but on deb there is a bunch of common package dependencies, and it works fine. look if you have libnspr and such. I have a different problem though, if anyone is reading this and can help: when galeon first ran on my machine (debian sid) it asked me if it should become the "default GNOME URL handler", to which I agreed, and evolution started popping up galeon windows instead of Mozilla when I click a URL in an Email for instance. At some point I wanted to revert to Mozilla, but found no switch (in Galeon or the gnome-control-panel) to set it back. I removed the galeon package but it didn't help, and now that I reinstalled it, it won't load at all claiming it's missing a profile stanza or whatever (in .gnome's spaghetty, no doubt). well, guesses? or should I submit a bug report? -- Just hold me Ira Abramov ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
