Sorry - I forgot one important detail in my previous post, so here's more info. The /usr/bin/mozilla file is a shell script to run mozilla and it includes the following line:
MOZ_PROGRAM="/usr/lib/mozilla/mozilla-bin" So I decided to also try running mozilla directly and I got the same error messages as I got with galeon. [root@shlomo1 components]# /usr/lib/mozilla/mozilla-bin ************************************************** nsNativeComponentLoader: SelfRegisterDll(/usr/lib/mozilla/components/libmime.so) Load FAILED with error: libmsgbaseutil.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory On 25-Jan-2002 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Someone suggested I try the Galeon browser, so since it appears on the > Mandrake > 8.1 KDE menu, I decided to try it.
