This is a good reason to BUY the distro instead of downloading it,
or buying a cheap copy from someone who did download it.

If I rememebr correctly their extras are aimed twoard the developer
market (i.e. database "language" compilers, etc), not the average
"computer geek". 

The first person to do this was Adam Osborne who sold his "Osborne 1"
computer for less than the cost of the included software, though
I suspect this was before most of the people on this list were born.
