Since WINE is supposed to emulate Windows, I think that it should try to
duplicate the exact behavior of Windows, including Windows's particular
ways to implement the Unicode Bidi algorithm (a.k.a. "bugs"). The problem
is that different versions of Windows do things slightly differently, so
you need a multi-barrelled gun to shoot this target.

Ok, but what components do you need? We have enough bidi
implementations, and I can back-port fribidi for your needs too.
