I sec. I used "Unix System Administration Handbook" 3rd edition two ( maybe 3 ) years ago when I was teaching as a "Metargel" at "Michlelet Sapir". it's one of the most comprehensive and complete book to start from.. my best spent 373 Nis.. ;-) I would also recommend the old and basic guides: Installation and Getting Started Guide Author(s): Eric S.
