Hi!

I'd like to start organizing bi-weekly Linux lectures in the Tel Aviv area
(at least until the TAU Linux Club lectures resume). I already have
several topics I can give lectures on and was contacted by someone else
who wishes to give lectures.

Now, I need to find a suitable lecturing hall. Can anyone supply us with
it? Can someone from Tel Aviv University be able to give us hosting?

Regards,

Shlomi Fish

Hi Shlomi,

I already talked to Eddie about this, and he promised a reply. If he can't provide this, I have other places who offered to host such initiatives (including one that already practically said "yes").

I'll put out an announcment as soon as we settle on time, place and frequency, and we'll start getting the topics in.

The idea is to replicate the Haifux spirit in the Tel Aviv area. Highly technical, free and community based. Two hours for each lecture. Past Haifux lectures ARE acceptable, as we can assume not everyone in the Tel Aviv area drove to Haifa to hear them.
