I am guessing that Debian did not invent this "country", but rather that they used the ISO 3611-1 standard country list. You can find this list in http://www.iso.org/iso/en/prods-services/iso3166ma/02iso-3166-code-lists/list-en1.html In which you can find a ... "PALESTINIAN TERRITORY, OCCUPIED - PS". > 2. If you want to know why ISO (not Debian) chose this name, please look at ISO's newsletter from October 1999: http://www.iso.org/iso/en/prods-services/iso3166ma/03updates-on-iso-3166/nlv2-ps.html -- Nadav Har'El | Thursday, Aug 11 2005, 7 Av 5765 [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone +972-523-790466, ICQ 13349191 |"A witty saying proves nothing." -- http://nadav.harel.org.il |Voltaire ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
