I managed to get the DMZ setup I wanted on the WRT router, and put up a
cooking recipe on my website, if anyone is interested (and I would love
to hear comments about how things can be improved), at

Also - just a quick question (of opinion, I guess):
The new version of the OpenWRT linux distribution for routers is doing
away with the Linksys way of storing configuration in the nvram and
having the rest of the system on a readonly flash image, and instead are
using a read-write JFFS2 parition to store everything, plain old Linux
style. (they also have package management and stuff, so you can install
new software and update existing one w/o reflashing the entire image)

Any comments about the pros and cons of each method ?
