Hi, I'm looking for software that will allow a team of technical staff (developers, consultants, etc.) to enter personal hours of start/end and a code (of a task or project) of what they did in each time frame. I prefer a program that allows to open more than one row per a day (so it's possible to enter more than one start/end hours per a day).
Then, in the end of the month, I can give the software a list of codes (e.g. all the codes that relate to a specific customer) and ask it to prepare tables of reports about each of those people, with columns for date, starting hour, ending hour, and comment. I want these tables to be in a format that can be attached to an invoice that is sent to the specific customer that these codes/tasks/projects relate to. The software must have a web interface, and I prefer Open Source that can run under Linux (though it is not a must. By the way: Do Outlook and/or Exchange support what I need?) I prefer a software that supports also calendar, appointments, etc., so I will not have to install too many software packages. We scanned Freshmeat/SourceForge, but found too many packages, and I'm quite confused. So if any of you can add more details, or can tell something from his/her experience, I'll be grateful.
