Ah, I see, so, when writing a book, people actually think "now
it's time to put a 16 point Times New Roman header here", as
opposed to "now it's time to start a new chapter", right?
People *are*, of course, unbelievably stupid for the most part,
but some of them actually have the ability to see concepts behind
presentation, and if you give them LyX and teach them to click on
the menus to start a new chapter and stop worrying about the
presentation[*], they'll probably understand.

This is a bottle of Carlsberg. Carlsberg is a beer. I know how
to open Heinekken and Tuborg bottles, and those are beers too.
Therefore, I know how to open beer bottles, and opening a bottle
of Carlsberg will not be a big problem for me.
Yes, Virginia, people are able to generalize on a trivial level.
And the difference between the levels of complexity of such
concepts as, say, chapters and sections in books on one hand and
network protocols on the other is vast.
I think.
Vadik.
[*] Yes, there actually IS a button in LyX that makes you stop
worrying.
