It does an automatic probe and generates the config file for U. U have to copy this file after renaming to XF86Config to /etc/X11. I am trying the Frame Buffered server and it is mind blowing. The performance parameters are really superb and no CPU cycles are hogged. XFree86-4.0 is a must have to solve all UR X hassles. The filesystem hierarchy followed by XFree86-4.0 is close to Debian GNU/Linux and now U have to watch out /etc/X11. ragOO, VU2RGU.
