Hello Everyone,
My X-server has become very very slow. It often gives warning that
some program (gpm,panel etc) is not responding/broken/very slow. It
asks me whether to remove the program or cancel. Even if I choose
remove program, the system is slow and the same warning reappears.
Sometimes, it is not able to display the panel also. The following is
a brief description of my system:-
Pentium 166-MMX with 16MB RAM
Redhat Linux 6.1 -- 1000 MB / partition and 32MB swap partition
Cirrus Logic Display and LG Monitor (configured for 800 * 600 only).
GNOME desktop with Enlightenment
I have tried re-installation several times. Does that affect the
partition table or something. IF yes how do i clear it?
