i am able to configure the vga16 x server for the following machine using
xf86aetup.. sax doesn't work in my machine.. it gave some error..
the config is
celeron 450 64mb ram intel 814 agp card and lg monitor.. 512i
when i tried svga server.. it gave the error..
error no 111 unable to connect to (some unix server) something it gave..
so what should i do ..
yeah the kernel is quite fast compared to RH6.1..
compared to xf86config.. xf86setup is a beauty... unfortuantely i was not
able to work with sax...
the greatest thing was when i checked the CD on the new machine in our
department..
PIII 64 mb 8,4 gb ide harddisk 40x cdrom drive SiS AGP card..
compex card.. the setup program identified everything.. i was like shocked
when i saw a clear graphical set up screen..it was the department machine
so i didn't install linux on it.. windows NT 4.0 with back office server
is running there.. i bet the loading of linux 6.3 will be a ziff in that
machine..
