The i810 MB is a great piece of hardware esp. the display adapter. But
the catch is that out-of-the box i810 support is possible only with
SuSE 6.3. For all other distros, you will have to do things the hard
way.

Another catch is the sound. Make sure it is supported before you make
the purchase!

AFAIK, No! i810 based motherboards are everywhere.
