Hey I have company here!!! ;-)
I faced the problem too and I have made one observation that is when
ever I am not using the Modem, system shutsdown completely and when ever
I use the modem it doesn't shutdown and reboots.
As for now I have sorted the problem for myself and I presume that It
will for U too. In the Bios goto power management and disable wake on
modem ring and then give it a try. I am sure its going to help as it did
for me.
