I believe there is no need for that, right now. The error is with
fontpath.. so let it be corrected. Only if that does not work.. let me
do some R&D here..
o/p from my machine..
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts
/usr/X11R6/bin/showfont
/usr/X11R6/bin/xfontsel
/usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontdir
/usr/X11R6/bin/xlsfonts
/usr/X11R6/bin/fslsfonts
Specify these in place of unix:1 whatever you have. And see magic!
If it does not work, only then reinstall your X server.
