config of mgetty is same as that for a dialin server, we are issuing the
usr signal to the mgetty through kill -USR1 <mgettypid>
It can be ordinary tele cable, we have done up to 70 meters using
flexible telephone extention cable crimped with RJ 15 connectors
you can ask windows to dial any number (even 1 will do)
