Hi,
Those using this monitor, do reply. I am able to get 1024x768 @ 75 Hz
VRR
and 800x600 @85 Hz in M$ Winders> Right now, I can not seem to be
getting
the same, even after entering the details using the specifications etc
with
help of monitor's manual.
Spefications :
15" / 50-120 / 30-61.
Questions :
1. Which part of generated XF86Config will tell me about the exact
refresh
rate being used?
2. I have tried giving the values using xf86config which allows me to
give my
own values as ranges for different parameters. Do I need to use
xvidtune
even now?
3. Is it even possible for my monitor to give 85 Hz at 800x600, I mean
does
the range of horizontal frequencies that has been specified in the
manual
support this much? Or is the driver in windows supplying something to
the
comp which I am not supplying to XF86_SVGA [card = S3 trio 3d/2x 8 MN
AGP]?
Anyone?
