Hello all
I am a relative newcomer to Linux and have a lot of questions, but right now I
would like some of my queries regarding email solved.
I installed Mandrake Linux 7.0 last week and have been using it ever since
from home. To get emails, I rely on Netscape Messenger and sometimes the KMail
utility. The settings in these programs But considering the gargantuan size of
Netscape and the time it takes to launch, I have been exploring other email
options, and finally decided that Mutt was what I needed, because of the
possible colour highlights and handling of mailing lists. And now, here I have
been struggling for well over 5 days.
So, my problem is
I have a pop3 mailbox at mailandnews.com and would like to use it for all
purposes. What do I need to do?? I would like some detailed help here, because
I feel completely at sea now. If anyone has a .muttrc for this purpose and
sends it to my mailbox, I would be grateful. What other *mails have to be
synchronised for this?? I believe fetchmail and the procmail filter also have
to be configured. Anyone who has a similar kind of setup, could you send me
your configuration files so that I could modify the necessary parameters.
