On the contrary, I will say that it didn't ease things for them. Many
users faced infinite trouble because they did not observe that /boot
was the only partitioned facing problem. And that it could have
something
to do with filesystem type, which is not yet implemented.

Not a good sign. Probably SuSE should have burned a CD with proper
RSF support.. with asking the people for options which FS they
want and then using something like fdisk or ReiserFD [hypothetical 
term]??

Anyway, 
Reporting something.. the fs mounts are DAMN fast. bootup time has
reduced. FSchecks are faster.
