Maybe the problem cleared up all by itself? It is funny, to say the least

/var/spool/mqueue is where mails are queued (from all logins on your box)
before sending (assuming you have remembered to set 0 holdexpensive=true).
Your mailbox is /var/spool/mail/spavri

You download it using your pop3 client (Say fetchmail)
The local mda takes over at this point. It may be sendmail, or something
else you have specified as the mda (using the mda <whatever> tag)
Mutt, PINE etc. are mail _readers_ which will read the contents of
/var/spool/mail

Or do you mean "all the mail has been SENT"?
