There is no CONTINUE as such in minicom. You will have to exit minicom without
resetting the modem (Ctrl - A Q - I guess) and then at the command prompt
type /usr/sbin/pppd /dev/ttyS1 115200 (assuming that modem is connected to first 
serial 
port). Also you have to add DNS in /etc/resolv.conf.You need to set default
route using the route command.

If you think that above method is very difficult then  try wvdial or kppp or 
rhdialer(not sure whether the name is right).
