It just ~might~ work. There are a few lists am on which bounce all
(probably) offtopic mail based on grepping for keywords.
For example, there's this perl list, where javascript queries are streng
verboten. So, if you _really_ want to mention such a dirty word in a
legit post, you have to make it j_a_vascript, jabbascript, j@v@script or
something like that. And that still runs the older majordomo :)

If you're referring to quoting using ~, that is generally for
~italics~. Suffice to say that, if you use $emphasis [~|_|*] then you are
emphasising the word. I assume we ~can~ get our message across this way
without posting in HTML :)

Thaths can easily set a size limit on e-mail, restricting posts of > 10
